TVC BEAUTY: NARS Audacious Lipstick

So a few days ago 13 of the beautiful NARS Audacious lipsticks arrived at my door and since that day I haven't stopped photographing and playing with them.

Seriously, how beautiful are these guys?

I've tried on every shade (and so has my mum for that matter...she has her eyes on the pink shades)

See, I told you I loved taking pictures!

A few of my favourite shades are Charlotte (back row, far left), Fanny (back row, far right) and Audrey (bottom row, far left)

I mean, as far as the formulation goes, its fantastic. If MAC was the Bentley of the lipstick world, then these are the Rolls Royce. (Go me for car references!)
I'm completely blown away by the pigmentation, the formula and lets be honest here...the packaging!

So its safe to say I am in love with these lipsticks. And to prove such, here is a pic of me wearing the shade 'Charlotte". I love it!

And thats it, my favourites from NARS's newest collections. Give me some love and share what your favourite collections are by tagging me on your Instagram pictures and send me your tweets!

Tom Ford is one of the best makeup brands on the market. Fact. They epitomise glamour, sophistication and the designer dedication that us girls love!

Now my local Tom Ford counter is full of the newest collections and so many products that would make your head spin if you had to choose one.

So I've made a post of my favourite Tom Ford hero products that no beauty babe should be without!

First up is the delightful cheek colour in "Savage". At this time of the year, rustic pink/reds with gold shimmers just scream Autumn/Winter. I must say, a light hand is a must with this one, high pigmentation is always a great thing, but stay on the side of gentle when applying. It looks gorgeous when paired with a softly contoured face and a subtle highlight. I LOVE!

While we are on the cheek subject, the Shade and Illuminate palette is to die for. Now I am a girl if you said "cream bronzer" to me I would tell you that there is no better product than the Solait tan de Chanel (which you guys know I love), but now we have a new favourite. The bronzer is so creamy, yet such a perfect bronze, you can't mess this up, seriously I've tried. I can't honestly describe how much I am in love with this. The highlighter is very subtle, think a lit from within glow. It's perfection. Seriously.

Let's talk the rest of the face now and moving on to the mascara. Now I am fortunate to have long lashes, but they don't hold a curl much. I fell in love with this mascara as soon as I first used it. We have deep dark lashes, beautiful length, a serious curl and this mascara stays put. There is no fallout, no smudging and it will not budge throughout the day. Plus that wand is mahoosive. Seriously, this is the product that you just have to get.

Now for the brows, there are two leading contenders in the market, the Anastasia Brow Wizz, and the Hourglass brow pencil. I have tried both and I really didn't get on with them. Enter the Tom Ford Brow Sculptor. It's the perfect colour for my brows (04 Espresso) and that spoolie on the end is perfect. This gives me serious Middleton-esque brows, and I love it.

Last up we have the iconic Lip Colour. Mine's is in 14 Sable Smoke. Now really you could go with any colour that you fancy with these so I will talk about the formulation. Although I will just point out that my shade is the perfect 'your lips but better' nude. These are so creamy, buttery, full of pigmentation and staying power. Even after the colour has eventually gone, the nourishment stays, and stays. Its a winner for sure.

And there we have it. I have picked my favourite Tom Ford products (which was really hard just to just pick 5, trust me). Tom Ford is one of my favourite beauty brands, and personally, the best packaging there is, they just hit it on the nail every time.

TVC LIFE: What's In My Make Up Bag?

So after a fantastic birthday, I thought I would use one of my new gifts to feature in this post. Enter the Mulberry Postman's Lock Cosmetics Purse!

I was getting ready for my birthday night out last night so I thought that I would show you guys about what cosmetics I took with me.

Mulberry Postman's Lock Cosmetics Purse (£195.00)

So from top to bottom I will just get right into this;

  • Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick - £29.00
  • L'Oreal Lumi Magique Concealer - £8.49
  • Revlon PhotoReady Concealer - £6.49
  • Dolce & Gabbana Intense Colour Gloss in Pink Sapphire - £23.00
  • Chanel LES 4 OMBRES Multi Effect Quadra Eyeshadow in MADEMOISELLE - £40.00
  • Lipstick Queen (just seen in gold) Velvet Rope Lipstick in  ENTOURAGE - £36.00
  • Bobbi Brown Lipstick in Sandwashed Pink - £19.00
  • Bobbi Brown Bronzer - £27.00
  • Chanel Rouge Coco Shine Lipstick in Boy - £25.00
  • Lancome Hypnose Mascara - £22.00
  • Lipstick Queen Invisible Lip Liner - £15.00
  • Chanel LÈVRES SCINTILLANTES Glossimer  in Mica - £21.00
  • Soap & Glory Archery Brow Pencil - £10.00
  • Lancome Art Liner - £21.00
  • Lancome Kohl Eye Pencil - £16.00
  • Eco Tools Powder Brush - £12.99
This may seem slightly excessive for a night out (major lip options galore!) but I tend to have a lipstick and a gloss already in my makeup bag and then add in whatever colour I wear on the night. Always prepared!

Aside from that I am pretty in love with the purse. It just feels so luxurious pulling it out of your bag! I would probably use it more as a clutch bag rather than a cosmetics purse, as I go to quite a few events and its just the perfect size!
