The Travel Edit: Tuscany

Now that we have Christmas out of the way and the cold weather is more frightful than festive, we all may start looking for somewhere a little warmer.

We are all looking for escapism, relaxation and all in all a little R&R after the holidays. And where better to look than the breathtaking hills of Tuscany?

From great food to even better scenery, I couldn't imagine spending my well-earned relaxation period anywhere else.

And because of this, Tuscany makes for the ideal holiday villa location. It's the dream of living in the countryside, in a picture perfect location with friendly villages and beautiful weather that makes it ideal for residing in your holiday abode.

When it comes to thinking about Tuscan homes I think of beautifully rustic brickwork and stunning scenery from every window, and the properties from Agenzia Immobiliare Lancisi are no different to that. They excel in beautiful locations that capture the nature of the Tuscan dream.

The picture above shows exactly what you can expect from Agenzia Immobiliare Lancisi as they specialize in country houses and prestigious properties in one of the most characteristic places in Italy.

They have approximately 14-16 properties, located between Tuscany and Umbria, some with special landscape situations, some with pool or vineyards or land, others characterized by the historical value of the estate or artistic and historical details, such as paintings or valuable ceilings, marble work of minor artists etc - which in my opinion makes for the ideal holiday home.

I genuinely believe that Tuscany is the perfect location for anyone to visit in 2017. And who knows, you may fall so in love with the place that it could become your second home - and when you do, visit Agenzia Immobiliare Lancisi to make your dreams come true!

So here's to the cheeky little gifts, that let's be honest...are the best ones.

Merry Christmas my loves

The Christmas Edit: Stocking Stuffers Under £30

I love a good stocking stuffer (eaaasy now...). As much as I take so much joy in wrapping presents, there is something about seeing the delight on someone's face when they open up their stocking.

Amongst the usual chocolate oranges and mini beauty products, I love sneaking in a little show stopper to really delight my loved ones.

So if you are looking for a super stocking stuffer or if you are still trying to nail your Secret Santa present, take a look at my edit of the best gifts under £30.

As always, click the arrow on the right to browse my edit!

And as a little extra, if you are looking for retailers to find the perfect gifts, here are my favourite places to find a real gem!

Fashion Picks - ASOS, Marks & Spencer & Next

Tech Picks - House of Fraser, John Lewis & Amazon

Beauty Picks - Space NK, DebenhamsCult Beauty

All round unique gifts - Not on the High Street, Etsy & Liberty

'WOW! You shouldn't have' gifts - Net-a-Porter, The Outnet & Selfridges

The Gifting Edit: Luxury Buys Under £500

We all want to give our loved ones a showstopper of a gift. May it be a future heirloom or a stylish new handbag, I'm sure we can all cherish the look on the recipients face when they unwrap a good'un.

I am no different, but sometimes I like to treat myself...okay maybe more than just "sometimes". I have a wishlist as long as my arm with an array of designer bags and cozy coats to even luxe beauty and skincare products.

But I do have a semi-realistic price range. As much as I would love to blow £1000s on a new Givenchy Antigonia bag when I feel like it, I just can't justify it - nor afford it! Therefore I love to indulge in little luxuries that all add up to give the impression that I really have my sh*t together! I mean, accessories make an outfit right?

Plus...who doesn't love a little snip of designer now and then?!

With that in mind, this edit is for all of you who love the little luxuries to treat your friends and family or even your lucky self. May it be a splurge of the moment item or one to save for, each product on my wishlist will guarantee a very, very happy smile!

And with that, I think it's about time I treated is Christmas after all!

Much love

The Skincare Edit: Glowy Winter Skin

As much as I just love winter, I hate what it does to my skin. I normally have combination skin with the odd spot here and there. But in the winter my skin develops a scaly texture and is ever so unbearably dry - but somehow still oily!

I have never been one for skincare. In fact, the sheer swipe of a makeup wipe and the occasional dab of Clinique's moisturizer and I was done. (I can actually hear my hero Caroline Hirons recoil in horror at the thought of a makeup wipe - sorry love!) However, now I'm in my twenties I really took a strong stance in the skincare department. I started researching what my oily skin needed and with the help of Mrs. Hirons's blog above, I managed to understand the needs of my skin and the products to do just that.

The first thing I upgraded to was a cleansing balm. Now I know there are a few on the market, but I can make a strong case for this one from Omorovicza. Charcoal is a product that I love using on my skin thanks to its spot clearing properties and blackhead fighting nature, which if you are an oily gal like me, is a common problem. This really helps to cleanse my skin after using my Superfacialist by Una Brenan Oil to take off my makeup, so it is going straight onto cleansed skin to get the full potential.

Following from that another item I opted to include every other day into my routine was the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix Exfoliating Pads. I use these around three times a week to remove dead skin, keep spots at bay and help my skin to glow. And apparently, Kendall Jenner uses them too.

I also upgraded my moisturizer from Omorovicza, opting for a rich but light texture with an illuminating finish to beat winter dullness. This does all of the above without clogging my pores, which really is a godsend.

When it comes to masks, I still love a clay mask. In particular the new clay masks from L'oreal (below). But with so much clay to draw out impurities, I need something to put back the moisture in my skin. Enter Liz Earle's night concentrate. It's light enough to again not clog my pores but provides enough moisture to repair my skin overnight.

I know winter can be daunting to skin. With the mulled wine flowing and the late nights can take a toll on our skin. So keeping the glow requires a semi-easy skincare routine and I know I sound like your granny here but, a lot of water consumption. Trust me, it will save the hangover too.

For links to the products mentioned and other glowy products see below to help you achieve the perfect winter glow just in time for the big day!

Merry Glo-mas!

The Festive Edit: Bobbi Brown's Christmas Collection

Festive cheer is most certainly loud enough for us all to hear right now! With brands promoting their glitter-laden Christmas collections left, right and center, it was a refreshing taste to see that Bobbi Brown this year stuck with what they do best; classy, elegant and oh so chic.

This year's collection is centered around all of our festive (or in my case, year round) favorites, wine, and chocolate. With rich and deep shades and just the right amount of shimmer - not all of us embrace the 'glitter ball' trend - it has firmly made its way into my Christmas beauty bag for this year.

The first and easily the highlight of the collection is the two palettes aptly named 'wine' and 'chocolate'. One cool toned and the other slightly warmer and more shimmery, they both have something magical about them. Normally I wouldn't mix warm and cool tones together, but these make it so foolproof to achieve a party-perfect look.

To complete the look there's a brightening blush that doubles up as a soft bronzer and a light highlight for an easy all in one to slip into your party clutch. It creates a soft focus glow that is perfect for festive photography!

And lastly they have two polishes on offer and you guessed it, one is a dark brown 'Chocolate' and the other is a deep berry 'Wine'. Both have the same creamy long lasting formula that is consistent with Bobbi's nail lacquers.

There is also a few other bits down below for you guys to check out plus some other festive inspired pieces I'm loving right now. This collection has something for every luxe woman this Christmas. And if you aren't sold but that, the packaging is leather & heavy gold embossed. They sold me with that alone.

All this wine and chocolate talk have given me all kinds of cravings...thank god for selection boxes!

The Fashion Edit: 1 Blazer 3 Ways

I love a good blazer me. I have a Max Mara number that I bought a few years ago and it is the best investment I've ever made. A blazer goes with just about any outfit from day to night and casual lunches, heck it can go with your jammies if you want it too!

I have three looks here, each varying in style and where they would be appropriate, which you can just throw on a blazer for an updated classy edge.

The first look is perfect for an evening out and the addition of a blazer adds a 'badass' edge to a classy jumpsuit.

The second is a perfect look from desk to dinner. A lace cami adds an element sexiness with the leather trousers adding the right amount of biker chic. Throw on some leather booties and a studded backpack and you have owned this look.

The last look is my personal daily uniform. Jeans and blazers go hand in hand with each other. A grey marl t-shirt and jeans give you the cool girl factor that screams off-duty model, throw on a blazer and you are hitting all the right style points. Add some sparkle from fun trainers and luxe earrings and you can be fit for brunch with the girls - just save us a mimosa okay?!

As I said above, blazers can be super versatile when approached in the right way. It just takes a little know-how and the right base to take any outfit for okay to SLAY!

Leave a comment down below of your favourite blazers and be sure to watch out for my next installment of 1 item 3 ways right here on The Wednesday Edit.
